Where AGYO began

At AGYO, we believe that home design should be an evolving process—one that grows and adapts with time. Our own studio was once a rented space in desperate need of an update. With careful planning and a focus on warmth, balance, and versatility, we transformed it into a beautifully curated home, and here’s how we did it.

Starting with a Neutral Base

The first step in our design process was to create a clean, versatile foundation. We painted the walls white, allowing the space to feel fresh, open, and full of light. To add warmth and texture, we introduced natural wood tones, which grounded the design and provided a neutral base that could accommodate any future decor choices.

Building Atmosphere with Warmth and Texture

Once we had our neutral foundation, we began layering elements to bring life and personality into the space.

Warm Lighting: Soft, ambient lighting was key to creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. We incorporated table lamps, ceramic sconces, and candles to add a gentle glow that felt both stylish and comforting.

Plants & Greenery: We introduced a variety of plants to breathe life into each room. The contrast of green against the white walls and natural wood tones added vibrancy and a sense of calm.

Thoughtful Accessories & Color Accents: With a neutral base, we had the freedom to introduce color through accessories like ceramics, cushions, and artwork. By using interchangeable items, we could easily switch out pieces to suit different seasons or moods.

A Work in Progress

One of the joys of interior design is that it never has to be “finished.” Our studio continues to evolve, with new pieces and rearrangements keeping the space dynamic and inspiring. By designing in layers—starting with a neutral foundation and adding accents over time—we’ve created a home that is flexible, inviting, and full of character.
